Thank you to those of you who made it out to the Piratz Tavern for our annual Pirate Party!  We feel the event was a huge success!

The money for this event has been put towards our next event in November 2010.  This will be a formal ball that we are throwing!  More details for this event are to be determined, so stay tuned!

It has been established that Ball & Chain will host its annual Pirate Party at the woman-owned 'Piratz Tavern' in downtown Silver Spring on March 20th, 2010!  This event is a fundraiser for the Ball & Chain woman to put towards future events, and we greatly appreciate your support.

Come join us on the first day of spring in Silver Spring!

-Dress like a pirate (you will NOT be the only one)

There are several parking garages nearby, as well as metro access near. 

We are getting rolling!  Up next, our 2nd Annual Ball & Chain Social.  This is an event designed for members to hang out, get to know one another, play games, and plan strategies for upcoming events.  We had so much fun at the last one, we decided to bring it back!  Members will get a chance to express any group concerns, ideas that they may have, and have a blast with the others.

After that-our annual Pirate Party!  Stay tuned for dates and details.

2009 is winding down and we are winding up!

The summer is behind us, and out comes fall.  We had an eventful summer with our Carnival; we gained new members, as well as other fun events to celebrate such a wonderful season.  The fall is here, and it is time to start focusing on our plans for upcoming events.  Ball & Chain will have many exciting events to be announced soon as we wind down the 2009 year and gear up for a new decade.
